Welcome to The Knee and Shoulder Centers
website. The information you will find here has been designed
to educate you about many common (and not so common) knee, shoulder,
and elbow
conditions, acquaint you with our  practice,
and assist you in scheduling an appointment with us. You will
find
that what we offer our patients is quite unique in today's
environment of HMO's, "Managed Care" and declining patient
service, choice and convenience. We are completely independent.
We maintain no contract agreements with Managed Care insurance
companies, which leaves us free to provide our patients with the
best personalized service and clinical expertise that traditional
private medicine has to offer. In our practice you will never
have
to wonder whether our treatment recommendations have been influenced
by restrictive HMO policies or a financial need to preserve a
Managed
Care contract. |

that the only person who should be making decisions regarding your
medical treatment is you, in consultation with the most knowledgeable
physician available. We still regard the physician-patient relationship
